ONGOING CALL FOR SCORES

We are looking for scores enabling us to broaden the scope of our repertoire, work with creators, and stimulate creation of non-conventional arte/facts.

Provided below are the most general guidelines for the interested artists.  Your scores/concepts should fall into one or more following categories:

  1. A purely graphic score; performers free to interpret it in any manner they choose. (Indeterminate notation).

  2. A graphic score with some–not very extensive–instructions concerning interpretation. (Alternative notation).

  3. A graphic score with elements of very simple passages notated traditionally (a few notes here and there; always single lines intended for ANY instrument). A collage of sorts, perhaps? (Approximate notation).

  4. A poem (experimental poetry).

  5. Action score (example: a work in which movements of performers more important than the resultant sounds).

  6. Hybrid notation (example: all of the above).

We reserve the right to use signal processing and electronic devices whenever we deem it appropriate.

IMPORTANT: Please consult us before you set out to create your piece.  Also, please note we do not offer financial remuneration for your effort.  However, if accepted, your work will be treated with total TLC.
